Saw Nathan Sawaya’s Lego art called “The art of the brick” on CBS Sunday Morning show couple of days ago.

A friend posted this on his FB page and of course I couldn’t resist. Yes, it’s an actual cat fashion show. The Gothamist had a good coverage of the event. I showed it to John and he said, “when cats revolution come, these people are gonna be the first ones to be guillotined.”

Serious Eats is one of my favorite sites to visit. It keeps me updated in all the places that I would LOVE to check out and also I get to stare at all these fantastic food pix. WARNING: Don’t go to this site if you are hungry. You’ve been warned.

I was at the Ninth Street Espresso in East Village with some friends this past Saturday. Good coffee, good company, and beautiful weather in NYC. Sometime, there’s nothing better in life.

I love everything about NYC, including the no-so-tidy subway system that takes you anywhere you want to go. I think it has so much character and so much history that I can’t imagine this city without it. Then I saw this illustration by Julia Rothman. I love the fact that soon as I looked at it, I started to hear “Empire State of Mind” in my head….

This is new toast of the town burgers floating around NYC. I mean just look at it. Why wouldn’t this be? Saw this on this blog that I read and it even got pretty fantatic review from this guy. It looks super fantastic!

Back by popular demand. I will try to post more pix on this blog. This week, I will be posting NYC related pix. These are some pix I took couple of months back when Sung Hee unnie was visiting NYC with her crew.

Saw this article in NYTimes. It’s pretty amazing what you can do with a small space. This gives me such hope with my space.

do you really sip simon?
FREESTYLE LOVE SUPREME DUDES taking over streets of NYC. You gotta love it. These are the type of things make me fall in love with NYC all over again and again.

Okay, it appears as though I obsess over alot of things but “flamin’ HOT Cheetos” maybe part of Top10 obsessions of all time.
I was first introduced to these things back in Texas, way back when and haven’t stopped eating them until I moved to NYC area. And the only reason why I stopped eating them is because they don’t sell them in this area. OR I just haven’t found a place that sell these. What’s up with that? Why would Cheetos, deprive the NYC folks of these marvelous things?
WARNING: these are extremely addictive. You will crave them while watching movies, driving, walking around the streets, hanging out with your friends, and whatever….
one of my favorite songs done with a bit of an asian flare. love it

At the MOMA.

Mr. Keifer Sutherland seems to get into alot of trouble out in the real world. It makes me wonder if it’s because he maybe, possibly believes that he’s really Jack Bauer inside. So the story goes, Mr. Sutherland actually head-butted someone at a bar in NYC. He didn’t punch the guy, he didn’t choke the guy, he didn’t kick the guy, he HEAD-BUTTED the guy. It made me wonder if Mr. Sutherland was screaming out, “Do you know who I am? I am Jack Bauer! I protected Presidents, saved countless American lives from various forms of potential terrorist attacks, and I KNOW how to cause some REAL pain!!!!!”
it’s definitely hard to find a house you love, especially on the east coast (compared to west coast). but damn i love this synagogue turned penthouse ..

Saw this on TV this morning while I was getting ready for work and thought… “Why didn’t they think of this before?” If you live in NYC area, metro card is a necessity to function around the city. But it’s always pain in the neck having to buy a new one when you are in a huge rush to get to work because you are late to work. And yes, this happens more often than I would like to admit. So they came up with this really cool idea. A metro card that works like an ezpass…..
