Late last nite, while going thru the DVR, came across this little girl on America’s got talent.  She’s only 10 years old and her name is Jackie Evancho.  After watching her sing, I wondered how the other contestants on the show felt about her.  I mean clearly she was sooo incredibly awesome and better than other contestants.

Okay I have 2 groups that I am really rooting for on the new show on NBC called “The Sing-Off“.  First is a group called Nota.  Nota is clearly the best group on this show without a doubt.  And the other group is called Maxx Factor.  I really want to see them do well on this show because they are clearly the underdog of the show.  I mean look at the way they are dressed on the show while the other groups are totally DECKED-OUT!~  It’s like the producers put them in these oufits just so that they could be made fun of or something.  What gives man?????

Anywho,  here’s a taste of what you may be missing if you’re not watching this show.  Here’s an awesome performance by Nota.  That’s right “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz!

So in case you are having Glee withdrawals, NBC has your next best thing.  It’s a show called “the sing-off“.  It totally sounds like they rounded up really talented folks and the show should be super entertaining.  My Mondays are looking interesting again….

So last nite, John and I watched a “Kings” episode titled the “final episode.”  It still left bunch of questions unanswered but from what we’ve read, this might’ve been the series finale.

After some digging around, John mentioned that each episode costs $4m to make and the show is only generating $2m.  Trust me, I work with numbers, that’s not a good sign.  This show has become one of my favorites on TV and I am deeply sadden to see it go.  RIP “Kings!”

“My family… always in my heart but in my eye.  May the time apart enrich the time spent together.  May there be enough love left over until the next time we join hands.”

This is the prayer that King Silas prayed for his ‘”second family” before dinner.  This is why I LOVE this show.  It’s refreshing because we don’t hear this kind of language around us these days.  I truly heart this show.

So we watched another new episode of “the kings” on NBC the other night.  I truely LOVE this show.  I love the drama, the characters, and most of all, the writing.  The characters speak so properly, it totally makes me feel ghetto.  I also love the fact that it’s somewhat Biblical.

I’m a celebrity get me out of here!‘ is PURE entertainment in sooo many different levels.  John and I just watched the first 3 episodes back to back and even John laughed out loud couple of times.  Trust me, that’s a really rare thing.  Here are some memorable moments from the show.

HEIDI and SPENCER.  SPEIDI… I don’t even know where to begin with this.  Spencer is an ass and because he’s an ass, it’s HILARIOUS on the show.  Here are some memorable moments of Heidi and Spencer so far.

  1. Heidi and Spencer already walked out of the show 3 times and came back.
  2. Spencer got baptized in the river by Stephen Baldwin before walking off one more time.
  3. The other celebrities decided to split Heidi and Spencer’s items after they walked off, and when they came back, Heidi cried and cried because they took the label off of her hair spray.
  4. Heidi and Spencer prayed for Patti Blagojevich while holding hands.
  5. Spencer “faking” the other contestants or as he calls them, his “servants”.
  6. Heidi claiming that the “devil” got them to leave the show for the 3rd time on Live TV.
  7. Spencer losing a challenge because he ate the garnish as well as the bug.
  8. Heidi/Spencer/Sanjaya doing the fire dance  around the camp fire.
  9. Heidi and Spencer sleeping with their mouths open in a hammock as the othere celebrities were taking pictures of them.

And it goes on and on and on and on.  And yes, John Salley cried because Janice Dickenson wouldn’t accept his apology….   This show got me out of my mourning period of Fringe’s season being over.

I think I just might have to give a daily update on this show.  Too entertaining not to.  Did I mention that Gina and I actually met one of the contestants on the show?

The new TV show called “The Kings” is definitely gaining some leg on my list of favorites on the tube.  I didn’t know much about the show prior to watching the first episode and to my surprise, it was actually based on the Biblical characters David and Saul.  The power struggle, good vs. evil, coming of age, romance, and corruption…. seriously it’s really great stuff.  The writing is pretty fantastic and has depth, and the characters are fairly phenomenally developed as well.  And yes, it doesn’t hurt the fact that the lead character, David Shepherd played by Chris Egan, looks like young Matt Damon and the acting is just out of this world.
